The Sustainable Finance team at adelphi is looking for a driven and experienced Senior Manager to support international financial institutions (IFIs) and commercial banks in primarily low- and middle-income countries in Climate Risk Management and Climate Adaptation Finance. Your role is to manage and lead projects focusing on tasks such as the introduction of climate risk management tools and operational processes, the development and review of climate risk policies or the elaboration of climate adaptation measures for selected industry sectors. You’ll take responsibility for the design of technical assistance projects during acquisition stage while managing external experts and taking an expert role yourself in project implementation.
We expect you to be flexible to also support project work in other areas of sustainable finance such as the implementation of credit lines for energy efficiency or renewable energy financing, the management of financing facilities that support clean-tech or biodiversity investments, and consulting on financial tools and products focusing on urban climate finance, resource efficiency or circular economy
