About alcemy

alcemy was founded 2 years ago to tackle the massive CO2 footprint of the cement and concrete industry. Concrete is used everywhere, for building homes or for infrastructure like roads, bridges, and tunnels. However, concrete is responsible for almost 9% of worldwide carbon emissions.

We change this! Our intelligent production control software enables everyone in the concrete supply chain to make the most efficient use of their resources. Our goal is to be the world's first company that can produce low-carbon-concrete reliably and at scale. We have the opportunity to save 1 Gigaton of CO2 per year.

The opportunity

As Talent Acquisition Manager at alcemy, you will

  • be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our entire recruiting process. From creating job ads, screening applications, conducting and coordinating interview appointments, to onboarding and probationary interviews of new joiners.
  • actively search for suitable candidates and coordinate correspondence.
  • support the strategic planning of our recruiting.
  • optimize our talent relationship management and be the first contact person for our applicants and hiring managers.
  • lead our employer branding initiatives.
  • participate in personnel marketing and recruiting activities such as university fairs, initiatives and cooperations.

Your profile

  • You have initial relevant work experience in (tech) recruiting and employer branding
  • You are characterized by a positive charisma and enthusiasm towards our applicants.
  • You are structured and can coordinate and organize several tasks and initiatives at the same time.
  • You speak German and English on level C2.

Within 1 month you will

  • Complete our onboarding and meet every team member
  • Learn a lot about cement, (low-carbon-)concrete and the whole construction industry
  • Get an introduction into our current hiring process
  • Accompany the first interviews and take over first open positions

Within 3 months you will

  • Manage our current job openings and pipelines
  • Identify new opportunities to source and search for technical candidates
  • Drive our first employer branding activities

Withing 6 months you will

  • Have helped us double our team size
  • Have responsibility for our entire recruitment process and how we can further improve it post our next funding round
  • Have increased awareness for our employer brand and attract more high quality candidates
