Project Manager (m/f/d) in the field of Environmental and Sustainability Management (fulltime/ parttime) - Berlin Your field of activity We have been supporting the European Commission in organising the European EMAS Helpdesk for many years. The Helpdesk is the central contact point for companies, authorities, environmental groups and the interested public for all questions concerning environmental and sustainability management of companies. We are looking for a committed and ambitious team member for the Helpdesk who will take over the project management. The EU Commission is pursuing the ambitious goal of significantly increasing the number of EMAS-registered organisations across Europe in the coming years. This is to be achieved, among other things, by linking EMAS more closely to current policy initiatives such as achieving climate neutrality, more ambitious sustainability reporting or environmental and human rights due diligence obligations along the supply chain of companies. The Helpdesk is expected to make an important contribution to this with its work. The Helpdesk team answers questions and raises public awareness of the content and dissemination of in-company with various activities. This includes dealing with enquiries, organising events, maintaining the EMAS website and producing communication materials. Above all, there is a close exchange with stakeholders and the EU Commission and their satisfaction with the helpdesk's services. As a project manager, you will work within the helpdesk and beyond to ensure that new impulses flow into environmental and sustainability management - both at the political level and in companies. This includes in particular climate management, sustainable supply chain management and sustainability reporting. Your tasks - Project management: You develop annual action plans in coordination with the EU Commission and agree on the budget. In addition, you are the first point of contact for the EU Commission and the project partners. You always make sure that processes run smoothly; if necessary, you adapt or optimise processes. - Content development: You develop content in coordination with the EU Commission and together with the project partners. This includes news, infographics/statistics, case studies or practical aids.) You also handle requests to the helpdesk from various stakeholders (e.g. representatives from member states, environmental experts, companies). - Dialogue: You design and conduct workshops with EU member states, companies and other stakeholders. You also support the EU Commission in organising events in Brussels. - Thematic development: You are a driving force within the helpdesk and the Green Economy team and create links between corporate environmental and sustainability management and current topics such as climate management or sustainable supply chain management.
