We are seeking a highly motivated individual to support CDP’s work in creating and delivering best climate data solutions for financial markets. This is your chance to make a really important contribution to redirecting global financial flows in line with the Paris climate goals.

The role includes

  • Managing and maintaining existing and forthcoming corporate climate datasets, including for Climetrics and CDP Temperature Ratings;
  • Continuously improving overall data management and delivery processes;
  • Actively supporting CDP account managers globally in their efforts to increase awareness of CDP’s capital markets offering, particularly CDP temperature ratings;
  • Working with CDP teams globally, including thematic and digital teams, on developing new scoring and assessment methodologies and turning them into actual data solutions for investors;
  • Providing general research and data management support to the Head of Product Development and other internal stakeholders;
  • Actively engaging with CDP Investor Signatories and other CDP stakeholders on the application of data products, including legal contracting and data delivery;
  • Assisting with ad-hoc tasks as required. 

The successful candidate should have

  • Minimum Msc degree in a business, IT or environmental management related field;
  • Minimum 5 years working experience;
  • Very strong data management and analytical skills, with high attention to detail;
  • A proven understanding of capital markets and the investment management industry with a passion for sustainable investing;
  • A high degree of creativity and enjoyment in dealing with environmental indicators and ratings methodologies;
  • Excellent knowledge of data management systems and Microsoft Office;
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, particularly vis-à-vis CDP’s investor signatories;
  • Strong motivation to support commercial data sales processes and investor engagement strategies;
  • Very good English communication skills (verbal and written);
  • A solution-driven and flexible approach to working in a fast-paced environment;
  • The drive to take responsibility and integrate successfully into a dynamic, multinational team.

Further information

The successful candidate will work five days per week and must be able to work legally in Germany. This full-time role is based at our office in Berlin, Germany, and will work closely with and report to the Head of Product Development Capital Markets.
