We are ready to scale and have big ambitions. We need you to define and execute planblue’s commercial strategy to broaden our mission, specifically focussing on the European, American and Asian markets.

What you'll be doing

  • Acquire new customers and sustain great relationships with existing customers and leads within the Blue Economy
  • Work closely together with planblue’s CEO and UX department
  • Develop, support and implement commercial strategies to accelerate growth (incl. business plan)
  • Monitor commercial performance via key metrics 
  • Assist the team in setting up financial targets, budget development and monitoring 

What you bring

  • Proven experience in sales and managing relationships with key customers within the Blue Economy
  • Maritime industry experience or relevant field (+3 years) 
  • BSc/BA in business administration, finance, business marketing or relevant field 
  • Fluent in English with excellent (proven) writing skills 

Bonus points if you have

  • Experience working in a startup environment
  • MSc/MA in business administration, finance, business marketing or relevant field 
  • In-depth understanding of market research methods and analysis 
  • Solid knowledge of performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes 
  • Commercial awareness partnered with a strategic mindset 
  • Excellent organizational skills 
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities 
  • Fluent in German with excellent (proven) writing skills
