The position

As an Account Executive in our DACH sales team, you will spearhead our regional sales operation, assess the market, identify opportunities, manage customer evaluations, and execute our strategy for growth. Your day to day tasks will include managing the sales process (in HubSpot), customer meetings and coordination of internal sales support, with an overall responsibility for pipeline development, sales progression and revenue targets in the DACH region. You will also represent ClimateView in relevant seminars, fairs and conferences. We see that you are based in Germany, preferably in the Düsseldorf/Cologne/Dortmund area.

You will be joining the commercial team and work side by side with Michael (Regional Director DACH) Dorothea (Account Manager), Niklas (Customer Success Manager) to mention a few, and with support from Lisen, our VP Commercial Excellence, and Jørgen, our RVP Sales EMEA. In this position you will also support and collaborate with the Marketing and Product Development teams, for example in monitoring market trends and providing competitor analysis. You will join a fully remote and closely-knit team of bright individuals, passionate about their work and our joint mission. 

Qualifications & Skills 

  • B2G Sales experience: At least 5 years of relevant B2G sales experience. Climate sector and sustainability experience is a big plus.
  • SaaS Sales: At least 3 years of successful SaaS sales experience, preferably within GovTech or B2G. 
  • Build and manage own pipeline: Including excellent forecasting skills and experience in negotiations.
  • Interpersonal skills: Strong hunter profile and skilled relationship builder, with a positive attitude and curious mindset.
  • Communication skills: Excellent written and presentation skills in both German and English
