Our vision for TREEO stems from 8 years of tree planting experience in Indonesia and Uganda where we were able to plant more than 1 million trees together with a highly ambitious team. Working towards this achievement we realized the difficulty of accurately monitoring CO2 sequestration to prove our impact. The TREEO App is our solution. It collects monitoring data from every single tree, which creates the necessary trust and transparency for small-holder farmers to commercialize carbon removals. Sales Manager (m/f/d)


Your Responsibilities 

We are looking for either an ambitious or seasoned professional in Germany who is a natural communicator, great at building relationships, has gained experience in the sustainability and climate compensation sector and has an extensive network to sell. 

The Sales Manager (m/f/d) works closely with and supports the Sales Director directly in the following tasks:

  • You will contribute substantially to the success of TREEO’s sales department by generating leads, managing TREEO sales pipeline and by concluding contracts & closing the deals 
  • You will set the goals for the sales team together with the Sales Director & help them achieve by presenting, promoting and selling our product/service using solid arguments to existing and prospective balancers 
  • You are responsible for designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that expands TREEO’s balancer base and building our strong presence in the market 
  • You will prepare regular reports and analysis to see how well we're doing in achieving our goals and track the market’s potential, sales and status reports 
  • You will promote TREEO on social media (e.g. LinkedIn) like a digital native & represent TREEO at external events (conferences, webinars, exhibitions, etc.) 
  • You will digitalise the sales process based on CRM-system Fresh Sales, Google Cloud Suite, and TREEO Cloud

Preferred capabilities

  • You bring an established network with potential balancers and/or have industry expertise 
  • You have good understanding of the international carbon market (history, challenges, potential) 
  • You have experience working in a tech dynamic environment & with cross functional teams
