Master Thesis - Effects of Pesticides in the Context of Multiple Stressors

Helmholtz-Zentrum für Umweltforschung GmbH-UFZ

Beschreibung:
The use of agricultural pesticides already affects aquatic communities in unexpectedly low concentrations. The decisive factor is the synergetic effect of pollutants in combination with other stress factors such as climate change or nutrient pollution. The Department of Systems Ecotoxicology explores these complex issues using a variety of approaches and (i) develops methods to predict these effects, (ii) supports national (Federal Environment Agency) and European (EFSA) risk assessment, and (iii) provides the basis for improving the welfare of our ecosystems.

We are looking for a highly motivated student (f/m/x) to write a master thesis at the earliest possible opportunity
