We believe that stories have the power to make real change, and want to use our platform to both inform and inspire. What we offer:

As an editorial volunteer at RESET, you will get a detailed, up-to-date look at what’s happening in the area of sustainability worldwide. We are a small editorial team, meaning you will gain insight into all of our work areas including editorial work, social media, campaigns and public relations. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to deepen your knowledge of topic areas that are of particular interest to you, learn more about how to use CMS and social media tools, and hone your editorial skills while researching, writing and updating articles on RESET’s site. If you like, you can also have a big role in helping us develop our social media channels and sharing our stories with the world.
You are an English native speaker (or speak English to a native level) with experience in journalism, writing and/or digital media. An interest in sustainability and humanitarian topics is highly important, as is the ability to express and explain complicated concepts in an accessible and engaging way. Our content is framed around “Digital for Good” and we focus on solutions and approaches that use information and communications technologies to make a positive difference, so ideally we are looking for someone who has a natural affinity with this topic.

The placement will take place in our office in Berlin, 1-2 days a week over a three-month period.

Unfortunately we are unable to offer monetary compensation - the placement is offered on a voluntary basis. However, we do offer stimulating work, on-the-job training, a lot of creative freedom and a high level of responsibility. A supportive team atmosphere is guaranteed, as is an inspiring work space in our bright and breezy new office (complete with a great view), right on the banks of the Spree river, and the possibility for an ongoing collaboration after the internship ends.
