Web Front-End / Full Stack Developer (m/w/d) with an emphasis on JavaScript web frameworks (full-time or part-time) - Berlin or Munich Your working field We are seeking to expand our web application development team with a Front-End / Full-Stack Developer to start working immediately with projects on green entrepreneurship, climate action and energy efficiency (preferred starting date: 15 January 2021). You will be working on the technical support through the provision of innovative web applications and web tools for projects like the Uganda Green Enterprise Finance Accelerator, which aims to facilitate the flow of green finance into the Ugandan SMEs sector through strengthening green SMEs and improving available financial mechanisms for SME debt financing. Further you will conceive, develop, deploy and administer various innovative web applications in the areas of entrepreneurial climate action or energy efficiency improvements. Your tasks - You are responsible for the conception and further development of the frontends of web applications in cooperation with our project managers and IT colleagues - You are part of a team that is responsible for the deployment and continuous provision of web applications in close consultation with IT colleagues, using tools such as Docker - You write tests and perform code checks (using tools like e.g. Cypress and Cucumber) - You connect web frontends with existing backend APIs (JSON, REST, GraphQL) - You will work in close consultation with Business Development and Project Management Your qualifications - You have profound knowledge of the common front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), familiarity with SASS is an asset - You have experience as a Frontend developer in at least one of the major modern JavaScript frameworks (VueJS, Angular, React) - You have already gained experience with querying and embedding RESTful APIs in JSON and/or GraphQL - You are familiar with code versioning systems like GitHub or GitLab, and code review is no stranger to you - Clean code and testing are important to you - User interface design, user stories and user journey maps are not completely new to you - You like to work in a team with flat hierarchies, take on more and more responsibility over time and like agile methods – familiarity with or experience in SCRUM is an advantage - You are motivated to familiarise yourself with new web topics and technologies - You have a good command of English, German and other languages are an advantage We offer - Active role in shaping debates on and solutions to the key issues of our time – climate, environment and development - Variety and autonomy in your work, and responsibility for a range of multi-faceted tasks at a sustainable company - A dynamic, multicultural workplace with flexible working conditions, flat hierarchies and an appreciative corporate culture - Free access to exercises classes (including yoga and Pilates) and Urban Sports Club membership at attractive, discounted rates - Active work-life balance through flexible working hours, varied working-time models and mobile working - Continuous, tailored support for developing your skills and planning your own personal career path at adelphi - An attractive and centrally located office on the banks of the river Spree, an ideal environment for creative work - A company pension plan subsidized by the employer and an attractive benefits programme Are you well-suited for this job?
