It also maintains a research station with further locations in Dedelow and Paulinenaue.
The EU-funded project Soil Mission Support (SMS, November 2020 – October 2022; www.soilmissionsupport.eu) develops a research and innovation (R&I) framework for effective action in Europe and globally in the fields of soil health and sustainable land management.

SMS engages with stakeholders from agriculture, forestry, spatial planning, land remediation, climate action and disaster control.
