Leibniz-Zentrum für Agrarlandschaftsforschung (ZALF) e. V.

The mission of the Leibniz Centre for Agricultural Landscape Research (ZALF) as a nationally and internationally active research institute is to deliver solutions for an ecologically, economically and socially sustainable agriculture – together with society. ZALF is a member of the Leibniz Association and is located in Müncheberg (approx. 35 minutes by regional train from Berlin-Lichtenberg). It also maintains a research station with further locations in Dedelow and Paulinenaue.

The ZALF is a member of the Leibniz Association, maintaining its headquarters in Müncheberg and field stations and a member of the Leibniz Research Alliance „INFECTIONS“ (

The aim of the research network is to use interdisciplinary research and communication to develop new strategies and methods for risk assessment, improved outbreak management and optimized containment of antimicrobial-resistant (AMR) pathogens. We are committed to the One Health approach which takes into account the interaction between humans, animals and the environment. All research is performed as multidisciplinary, cooperative projects of several partner institutes. In subproject 4, mechanisms and transmission routes of AMR spread through arthropods as related to animal husbandries and urban areas will be investigated for the model organism ‚fly‘ in close collaboration with the DSMZ (Braunschweig), ATB (Potsdam), FLI (Greifswald) and IÖR (Dresden). The study results are meant to derive interventions and strategies to minimize AMR development and spread.

We are offering a part time position within 65 % for 36 months, starting from 01.08.2021 at our location in Müncheberg as
