As an integral member of the FFC team, we are seeking a
Development of a digital solution based on open source resources
Development of a scalable software application with Python/Django based on an existing web application and API
Contribution to the conceptual and structural design of database models
Perform data analytics tasks - Work with and expand your knowledge of RESTful web services
Min. 3 years experience in GIS
Experience in building spatial infrastructure for web map platforms
Background in systems engineering, computing, geography or similar
Proficient in geographic data management
Experience in the development of GIS applications with libraries like OpenLayers, Leaflet or similar
Backend development skills (using Python web frameworks such as GeoDjango)
Familiarity with Geoserver, MapServer or similar
Good understanding of PostgreSQL
Familiarity with Git
Experience with NoSQL databases (desired)
Frontend development skills (using frameworks such as Angular or React (desired))
Quick comprehension and a structured way of working
Language skills: excellent English, proficient in Spanish
The position is advertised as a full-time position. Workplace will be in Germany or Spain. Remote work possible. A valid working permit for the respective country is mandatory. Starting date as soon as possible.
