In our International Taxes and Regulations (ITR) Unit, we focus on advising our operational departments in international taxation, labour law and social protection and commercial and financial regulation issues in developing and emerging countries.

Join our team in the ITR Unit in Hamburg as an open-minded and versatile  International Junior Tax Expert (m/f/d) and contribute to our mission to provide quality services worldwide.

Aufgaben

Your responsibilities (after an intensive training on the job):

  • Advising the operational departments concerning:
    • Taxation in the country of assignment,
    • Labour law and social protection in the country of assignment,
    • Commercial and financial regulation in the country of assignment.
  • Advice and management of the worldwide branches from foundation to annual financial statements
  • Interface with tax advisors abroad for the purpose of clarifying individual and fundamental issues
  • Reporting and documentation of domestic permanent establishments
  • Determination of permanent establishment results and coordination of the tax burden worldwide
  • Preparation and updating of the annual domestic transfer pricing documentation
  • Further development of internal documentation and support processes
  • Development and implementation of training courses

Anforderungen

  • You have successfully completed a Master degree in economics, MBA, management or finances
  • You ideally have first work experience in the tax department of an international company
  • You have a quick grasp of complex tax issues and the ability to communicate them in a comprehensible manner
  • Notions in the field of labour law (formation of employment contracts, obligation of the employer, end of the employment relationship) would be an asset
  • Notions in the field of commercial law (contract law, company law, accounting and related issues) would be a plus
  • You are confident in using common MS Office applications (especially Excel).
  • You have a very good command of English, good working knowledge in German (and the willingness for further improvement); further foreign language skills, especially in French, would be a great asset.
  • Personally, you have a team-oriented, independent and flexible working style and a positive charisma. You can set priorities correctly and also like detailed work. You maintain an overview during work-intensive phases.
  • Strong writing, communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage complex situations under tight schedules
  • Ability to work in intercultural teams
