Project Developer PV & BESS (f/m/x)

Your Role

As Project Developer PV & BESS (f/m/x) you will be part of a team of talented professionals with diverse backgrounds and experience. As part of a close-knit team that supports each other and collaborates to achieve their goals, you will support the generation of business in Germany and will be responsible for evaluating new business and project opportunities and building and managing strategic partnerships, and driving growth in our renewable energy projects. 

Responsibilities

• Evaluating new business and project opportunities through co-development partnerships in Germany focused on large scale PV, BESS and hybrid projects
• Support the Business Development team in identifying attractive market segments and geographies for PV and BESS development opportunities
• Performing due diligence processes of development projects alongside internal teams and external advisors 
• Being the lead for onboarded projects, managing and steering the co-development projects and the relationship with the development partner
• Collaborating with internal EPC, M&A and Finance teams to develop proposals, presentations, and marketing materials to support the comprehensive structuring of project during the development phase
• Monitoring and reporting on development activities, including project and pipeline status, budget, risks and opportunities as well as recommend actions to mitigate project and financial risks
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences and trade shows  

Job Requirements

We are looking for an expert developer with a deep understanding of the Renewable Energy market in Germany. Furthermore, you should bring the following:  

• Extremely high proactivity, open personality and passionate about the development of renewable energies 
• Native-level German and a high level of English are required. Strong understanding of the renewable energy market in Germany, including PV, BESS and other sustainable energy technologies 
• Several Years of experience in development in the renewable energy sector, with a particular emphasis on PV and BESS  
• Ideally you bring in-depth experience with grid operators and grid connection processes 
• A good understanding of project economics
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners and internal stakeholders 
• Bachelor´s degree or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or a related field
