The Common Wadden Sea Secretariat (CWSS) is seeking a committed Project Officer for Monitoring and Assessment. The position starts as soon as possible and runs until 29 February 2028. It is envisaged to be extended or converted into a permanent appointment subject to organizational requirements and funding.
CWSS supports, facilitates, and coordinates the Trilateral Wadden Sea Cooperation (TWSC), in which Denmark, Germany, and the Netherlands share responsibility for the transboundary Wadden Sea World Heritage Site. The Trilateral Monitoring and Assessment Programme (TMAP) is the joint monitoring programme of the three Wadden Sea states for assessing the ecological status of the Wadden Sea.
Working at CWSS means being part of a dynamic, international, and mission-driven team, operating in a trilateral policy-management environment. English is the working language. Our office is located by the seaside in Wilhelmshaven, Germany.
