Data quality manager with maritime focus (m/f/d)

Who We Are

Swiss Climate EcoServ GmbH develops digital solutions for emissions management and regulatory compliance in the maritime industry. Our software supports shipping companies in managing consumption and emissions data for international sustainability and compliance requirements.

To strengthen our operations team, we are looking for a Data Quality Manager with strong process management, communication, and analytical skills. In this role, you will help ensure the quality and reliability of operational maritime data while contributing to the continuous improvement of our software-supported workflows and services.

Your Tasks

• Understand international decarbonization regulations
• Perform regular quality checks of voyage, fuel consumption, and emissions-related data
• Coordinate communication with vessel crews and shore-based personnel to resolve data inconsistencies and operational issues
• Manage and track operational workflows and data correction processes across multiple fleets
• Support the optimization and standardization of internal processes and quality assurance procedures
• Create reports and monitor operational and data quality KPIs
• Work with structured datasets, databases, and SQL-based validations
• Collaborate closely with software development, customer operations, and audit teams
• Support the further development of software-supported maritime data quality services

Your Profile

• Strong analytical and process-oriented mindset
• Ability to coordinate multiple operational tasks and communication streams simultaneously
• Experience working with structured data and operational workflows
• SQL skills or strong willingness to develop SQL capabilities
• Affinity for software products, digital workflows, and operational problem-solving
• Experience in maritime operations, shipping, ESG reporting, data quality management, SaaS operations, or auditing is an advantage
• Comfortable working in an international English-speaking environment
• German language skills are beneficial, but not required
