Data Analyst & Policy Specialist | Remote sensing, political science, and a voice for climate and migration justice / NGOs

Beschreibung:

------------------------------------------------

A single pixel on my screen measures ten by ten meters. From an altitude of 700 kilometers, the Mekong Delta is nothing but a mosaic of lush green and rushing blue. No people. Just data. Data on the soil, the vegetation, the water. On pollution, salinity, and the climate. On the reality of the people living there. And the feeling. The feeling that leaves me speechless when I talk to them. When I realize how the individual’s need for food and survival can clash with the collective need for sustainability and the survival of all. But perhaps only at first glance...

------------------------------------------------

As an environmental scientist, political scientist, and songwriter, I see myself as a voice, a bridge between complex geospatial data analysis and impactful political work. Drawing on my expertise in remote sensing and hydrology (including the potential for sustainable agriculture in the Mekong Delta), I translate raw data into evidence. My strength lies in distilling these scientific insights into precise texts for political casework, reports, or strategic litigation.

I do not see myself working in public relations, campaigning, or fundraising. Instead, I see my role in areas such as case studies, interviews with affected individuals, acting as a voice for others, compiling dossiers, or evidence-based advocacy. I want to combine my academic expertise with my passion for language to support people in crisis situations regarding their wishes and needs by serving as a voice for them. Not as a mentor, but as a companion.
