Aid by Trade Foundation
Join our team as a project manager for regenerative agriculture, climate and biodiversity for the sustainable fibre standards of the Aid by Trade Foundation in Hamburg – initially limited to 2 years with the possibility of permanent employment
The Aid by Trade Foundation brings together various partners from business, politics, science and NGOs with its initiatives Cotton made in Africa (CmiA), Regenerative Cotton Standard (RCS) and The Good Cashmere Standard (GCS) and builds demand alliances for the purchase of sustainably produced raw materials in the spirit of a “social business”.
With its goal to help people help themselves, via trade rather than donations, the initiatives contribute to improving the living and working conditions in cotton-producing countries, animal welfare of cashmere goats, and environmental protection in the respective regions.
The „Standards & Outreach“ (S&O) department is responsible for the further development and review of AbTF’s sustainability standards, for supporting verified partners in 10 African countries, India and Inner Mongolia in China, as well as for monitoring, evaluation, and learning across all standards.
