WHO WE ARE

DUDE CHEM is a venture backed Green Chemistry startup with its origins in the German Scientific Federal Cluster of Excellence in Catalysis at the University of Technology Berlin. We are a small but mighty team which is dedicated to fulfil our mission: Based on the 12 Principles of Green Chemistry we aim to build a green chemical-pharmaceutical industry. The industry currently consumes >13% of all fossil resources, most of them during the manufacturing. Our aim is to change this.

In order to achieve this goal, we have built a strong patent portfolio and validated the tech onto the market in order to reduce or reuse expensive resources in the production of chemicals and pharmaceuticals.

We believe that digitalization can be an integral tool for the implementation of greener, more sustainable production processes.

This is why we combine both scientific disciplines – digitalization and sustainability – in all of our projects. Over the last years, our team has proven that our approaches work and created hard competitive advantages in the core of the value chain of their customers.

Aufgaben

Tasks

  • Support our CEO with her daily tasks (e.g. calendar management, travel management).
  • Schedule, prepare and organize meetings and events for the team.
  • Maintain inventory and office supplies. Anticipate office needs; evaluate new office products; place and expedite orders when necessary.
  • Ensure operation of office equipment, order maintenance when necessary. Troubleshoot malfunction of office equipment.
  • Record meeting discussions and provide minutes.
  • Open, sort, and distribute correspondence, including email, and snail mail.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to other staff members when appropriate.
  • Interact with customers and investors when appropriate and problem solve. Document complaints and develop an appropriate course of action. Report problems to executives when they cannot be resolved for attention.

Anforderungen

Requirements

Skills and attitudes that might be helpful:

  • You have relevant work experience or a B.S. in Management or related fields.
  • You proactively and flexibly support the team and you are able to adjust yourself to different needs.
  • In times of high time pressure (which is frequently the case), you don’t lose control and you are still able to work. Instead of despair, you organize yourself and set priorities. Excellent English skills are mandatory.
  • 1+ years administrative support or executive assistance will increase our confidence.
  • You are the master of MS Office (Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook + skilled in working with templates) and you are open to use and test new software tools as well.
  • You are the good soul of the team and you support direct feedback.
  • You don’t wait for others to solve your problems.
